Frosty wins World Dairy Expo


Harvue Roy Frosty, a five-year-old cow from Rudolph, Wisconsin, was named Grand Champion of the International Holstein Show. Sired by Roylane Jordan-ET, She was exhibited by Mike and Julie Duckett, Jim and Nancy Junemann and Scott Armbrust. Recently classified EX-95, Frosty was bred by Dave and Debra Hardesty of Berryville, Va. At 3-10 305d she produced 31,685M 4.5% 1,436F 934P. No stranger to winner’s circle, Frosty was the Intermediate and Reserve Grand Champion of the 2007 show.


Reserve Champion of the show was the 2008 World Dairy Expo Supreme Champion, Thrulane James Rose, exhibited by Pierre Boulet of Montmagny, Quebec Canada.


The Premier Breeder Banner was presented to Arethusa Farm of Litchfield, Conn.

Premier Exhibitor of the show was MilkSource Genetics LLC of Kaukauna, Wis.


Braedale Goldwyn was name Premier Sire of the show for the second year in a row.


Judges Mark Rueth, Oxford, Wisconsin and Paul Petriffer of Funes, Italy placed 415 animals during the two day show.
